About Us

We have been carrying out social work in the parish of S. Domingos de Rana for 42 years, in the municipality of Cascais. Our main focus of intervention has been linked, over the years, to the Third Age and the problems inherent in the aging process. Since 2012, we have also been working in the area of early childhood. We developed the Social Responses of the Day Centre, Home Support Service, Community Center and Nursery.

However, and as a Community Centre, the Institution has always been guided by a broader intervention, seeking to act and become present in other dimensions of life and in people's needs. Of note are the numerous partnerships and projects established and carried out with other institutions and the Autarchy itself. In fact, the word community, present in the designation of this Institution, has its full meaning in the intervention that is conceived and implemented.
